I'm married to Dr Shana Rush, who beyond all her professional talents is a truly wonderful person. We love the outdoors and working together on our home. My daughter Abby is into horses and has perfect pitch. My younger daughter Belle was born with the gift of happiness.
 
My hobbies include tai chi, archery, cooking (the pages are falling out of Julia Child's The Way to Cook), barbecue, and backpacking. I still entertain delusions that someday I'll write a novel.
