I answered this in my first answer...but I'll add that Dr Ptacek is attentive, and listens to my concerns. He and his nurse answered any questions I had, explained everything clearly, and I never felt rushed. I feel very comfortable in his care and plan to continue seeing him as my primary doctor.

I never feel rushed when talking to him. He always takes the time to listen and also explains things very thoroughly.

He got me into PT right away. I really liked the therapist. Hoping these exercises work. Also, Dr. Ptacek referred me to an orthopedic podiatrist.

Explains all options available and the side effects of the new medication. Never makes you feel like he is in a rush to get to the next patient.

Dr. Ptacek, and his team, have been patient and empathetic. I have a neuromuscular disease, so my medical needs are plentiful-Dr. P. addresses every issue and plans for contingencies.

I’d ask I not be reminded, again, how many appointments I’ve cancelled or missed. I’ve been told, repeatedly, and I’d like to bring closure to facet of my care. Also, I only need to be told once about the importance of keeping appointments within the medical model I’m dealing with.

That being said he always had a very good recommendation to a specialist to help me get any concerns of mine taken care of, that he was not able to evaluate fully himself.
