Dr. Alita Rivera is a true meaning of a primary doctor on every single level! She is professional ethical caring empathic dedicated committed on every single level to give you the service that you deserve and need as a patient. It would be very hard to find a doctor as herself. Unfortunately I've had many surgeries and experience many doctors a different levels. I am truly blessed and grateful to have a primary doctor such as Dr. Alieda Rivera.

I was very unhappy with my appointment in I think it was February for my yearly medicare checkup. I have severe ADHD and somehow wrote the time down for my appointment. I put 3 pm on my calendar and the correct time was 2:45 which made me 15 minutes late. There was no one else in the waiting room. I was willing to wait in a room until she could see me. They said no and sent me home with a new appointment 5 months away. I was nice to them, but I was very unhappy. It's not like the waiting room was full of people. I was the only one!

As I’ve said I came for what I thought was my wellness exam so I really didn’t need any care since I wasn’t having any problems, but the interview questions and basic health gathering I would rate as very good.

My health conditions are somewhat complicated I guess. The medical system is not set up to handle complicated. The proof of my statement is how it has taken years to even begin to address my various conditions, which in truth, have not yet been resolved. As if there is NO ANSWER to bring a person to a state of good health.

Good overall experience.

I came in for knee pain; I was told to buy a brace over the counter and use ice / heat and ibuprofen. I feel like this could have been told to me over the phone and I would have called another doctor for a more caring and in depth approach to my concern. I don’t run to the doctor for every little ailment. After suggestion an ultrasound (since I had a problem with my shoulder about 5 years ago), I was told I could get one if I wanted to. Very disappointed in the lack of caring and concern for what could be a serious issue. Now I’m praying the month I have to wait for an ultrasound that I can get by going to work, caring for my kids, running a household.

Dr Rivera has been our doctor for a long time we see her by choice and drive almost an hour to get there.

I have always liked Dr. Rivera. In the past she often seemed rushed. I’m aware this can often be a system problem rather than an individual one. My hope is that your system is supporting your physicians in taking the time necessary to interact with their patients when providing care. That is very important.

I’m extremely happy with my care.

I really do not care for virtual visits with the doctor. I’d rather talk by phone if I cannot have a visit in the office.
