I pursued a career in medicine because I wanted to help others and give back to a large, diverse community. Access to quality health care can transform lives, and I wanted to be part of that change.

One of the best things about primary care is being able to build relationships with my patients and grow alongside them. My care approach is based on collaborative decision making, and making sure my patients have the education and support they need to make informed decisions about their health care. I am especially passionate about women’s health, pediatrics, and rural health care.

Every patient has a story. Being allowed into that story — to guide, comfort, and advocate for them — is an incredible privilege. It's a reminder that medicine is as much about the people as it is about the science.
