Listened to my concerns very carefully and offered her opinion without being judgemental!

I was able to get a same day appointment today to address two health problems. So appreciated being able to do this.

I will continue to see Dr. Alexandra Halalau as my PCP. I’m very satisfied with her care.

She was kind enough to examine me in detail and explain everything about what I need to change to continue to have good results.

A number of years ago, I entered myself into a research program that Dr. Halalau was in charge of, but I didn't know her at all. The Research project was looking for people who were willing to have the blood drawn for colon cancer testing. I was very terrified of going for a colonoscopy. I thought going through this research program would help me avoid that. Unfortunately, the test came up positive. But then Dr. Halalau did something else when she introduced herself, she had not only with great Care explained to me the results, but sent me to a gastroenterologist who did this colonoscopy on me in a way that I never believe could be done very little prep and actually being allowed to eat till midnight particular food groups. If I knew I was going to be able to do that, I wouldn't have avoided it until I was 65 years old. I'm happy I did it because it came back clean even though the test said positive. Thus she saved my life. The results could have been different.

Dr Halalau is very knowledgable, truly cares about her patients, and takes whatever time necessary to listen and thoroughly explain and address all findings and concerns. A rare gem, in what seems to be a trend in the healthcare industry towards production line medicine.

Although my PCP was not in the office that day, Dr. Halalau provided outstanding service. She listened intently to my concerns, answered my questions, and calmly discussed my health issue.
