When I first entered the medical field, I just wanted to help people — of any age, with any ailment. Helping people made me feel good. But I quickly realized that I was always meant to care for children.

I am passionate about mental health, as well as pediatric preventive health care. I love getting to know children and families and helping them navigate the health system. I also love building understanding — my own and other people’s — of current evidence-based pediatric health recommendations. While recommendations sometimes change based on the latest science, the goal behind them never does: helping children live their healthiest lives possible.

For me, the best thing about being a pediatrician is my patients. They are hilarious, precious, and full of personality — and I love watching them grow!
