Thanks to her we were put in touch with Mary free bed in home care they are great on time and encouraging

We shouldn’t say that we recommend more patients for her, because she already has too many patients. We feel that she would not be able to take as much time for us, if she took on more patients. Perhaps I’m being greedy, but I just don’t want her to experience burnout.

She puts me at ease and explains all reasoning when changes are made.

Dr McDermed has been my doctor for seven years now she is very kind and understanding she never makes me feel like she's in a hurry she answers any questions I have and makes sure I understand any test or lab work that I need and why I need them

I like Dr. Mcdermed as a care provider. I think she’s intelligent, caring and transparent. However, a 15 minute appointment is not long enough. It’s not fair to expect a provider to adequately research your history, talk to you about your concern, physically evaluate you, educate you to have informed consent on your care plan etc. There needs to be a new model of care through all of Corewell health that brings the focus back to patient care and not corporate efficiency.
