I was a little confused by the plan and options. There seemed like a lot of studies needed that provide little information - and it seems strange to potentially need a cast after using a velcro splint for weeks and stay splinted while waiting for study availability. It will take 6 weeks to heal and that is the only thing I'm sure of. I will do what is recommended because if I run into complications I want to be sure to have medical care but I don't really understand this process.

She sent me to see physical therapy. Didn't find out when to follow up with her again.

I loved the manner in which she addressed me. She was professional and still projected respect towards me. She didn't act distant and made me relax and trust her by the way she acted. We need more of this presentation from our caregivers.

Allison heard our desire to have the procedure closer to Holland and she recommended Grand Haven.

It felt brief, but possibly nothing more was needed. Allison didn’t review the restrictions, exercises or massaging of the surgical wrist.

She did seem to have a good knowledge of the hand/wrist problem and dealt with it in a professional and efficient manner. I went home satisfied with the help she provided medically, and look forward to seeing her again for my 2-weeks follow up. She was nice.

She began by introducing herself as having seen me a few years prior for a different wrist issue, making an instant connection
