Children are continuously growing and developing — making their surgical needs different than that of adults. As a pediatric general surgeon, I am specially trained to provide care that supports a child’s long-term health and well-being.

I am particularly passionate about treating colorectal, endocrine, and thoracic abnormalities in newborns and children, in addition to my clinical and academic interests in taking care of children of all ages with cancer. Whenever possible, I use minimally invasive surgical techniques, which help make recovery times shorter and reduce any post-surgical discomfort for your child.

I love taking care of my patients and their families. Being able to help them find relief, comfort, and better health is the most humbling yet joyful part of taking care of patients.
