Amy Somerset, MD is a board-certified general surgeon who is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive surgery. She specializes in bariatric surgery (Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, revision bariatric surgery and gastric band removal) in addition to heartburn surgery, gastrointestinal surgery (esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon), hernia repair, upper endoscopy and gallbladder removal. She offers both robotic and laparoscopic techniques. Her goal is to utilize small incision surgery to promote less pain and faster recovery.
