Amy Banks-Venegoni, MD, is a general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery and therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Banks-Venegoni earned her medical degree from Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her general surgery residency with Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners in affiliation with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in Grand Rapids, and completed her minimally invasive surgery fellowship with Baystate Medical Center and Tufts University in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Banks-Venegoni's clinical interests include therapeutic endoscopy, reflux procedures, incisionless peroral endoscopic myotomy for esophageal dysmotility conditions, paraesophageal hernia repair, laparoscopic inguinal and ventral hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction.
