Anelyssa Cysne Frota D' Abreu, MD

Dr. D’Abreu is a board-certified neurologist specializing in the care of neurodegenerative disorders, primarily neurocognitive, in older adults. She is the Division Chief of Outpatient Neurology. She earned her medical degree from University of Campinas in Sao Paulo, Brazil and her master’s degree in public health from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr. D’Abreu completed her neurology residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and her geriatric neurology fellowship at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island-Brown University in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She has a certification in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. Her clinical interests include diagnosis and treatment of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
