Apoorva Bhan, DO

When I was a teenager, I was diagnosed with two chronic health conditions. The care and encouragement I received from my pediatrician throughout my treatment process is what sparked my interest in medicine. I hope to provide the same care and compassion to my patients. I also moved a lot growing up, and lived in multiple countries with different languages and cultures. These experiences equipped me to have positive interactions with individuals with wide-ranging life experiences.

Pediatrics can be a challenging specialty, particularly when kids have chronic conditions or are too young to fully express themselves. But it also brings many joys, and it’s been the perfect fit for me. I want to play a vital role in children’s development, prioritizing preventive medicine and instilling healthy habits at a young age.

It’s so rewarding to develop long-term, trusting relationships with my patients as they grow into capable adults who contribute to their communities. Being part of their journey, from birth to adulthood, brings me immense joy.
