About the Provider

Ashok Sriram, MD, MS, is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained movement disorders specialist. After earning his medical degree from the Armed Forces Medical College in India, Dr. Sriram earned a Master of Science in applied cognition and neuroscience from the University of Texas in Dallas. He completed his neurology residency training at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Missouri, and a fellowship in movement disorders at the Center for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration, University of Florida College of Medicine, in Gainesville.

Dr. Sriram uses a multidisciplinary team approach to care for people with Parkinson's disease, tremors, dystonia, ataxias, and other movement disorders. His clinical interests include surgical treatment/deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson's disease, dystonia and tremors, and botulinum toxin injections for cervical dystonia, blepharospasms, hemifacial spasms, spasticity, sialorrhea and chronic migraines.

    He is outstanding Doctor. When no one knew what was wrong with me, he knew very quickly. I had some problems with meds and he had it figured it out. Again no one knew what to do after two emergency visits to hospitals and two visits to Doctors. Thank god for Dr. Sriram
