Barbara L Periard, MD

Dr. Periard received her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, and graduated from medical school at Wayne State University. She completed her pediatric residency at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. Dr. Periard is a Board Certified pediatrician, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves as president of FHPA.

Barb grew up near Detroit, is a Tiger's fan, and alumni of the University of Michigan women's basketball team with a degree in Bio-medical Engineering. Before going to medical school, she worked as a Computer Consultant. She is married, has three children, and enjoys bridge, exercising and watching her children play sports.
