About the Provider

As a child, I knew I was going to be a nurse. I always envisioned myself caring for others and helping them be their best selves. I also knew I wanted to excel in my field. After several years of practicing as a Registered Nurse, I became a Nurse Practitioner. This advanced training allows me to diagnose and treat illnesses, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and counsel patients about their care plan.

I value an evidence-based approach to care that uses the latest science and research. I also consider care to be a team effort, with you as an integral part of the team. As my patient, you can expect that we will make decisions together. I promise to be respectful of your beliefs and goals, and will carefully listen to your concerns and questions.

I genuinely enjoy managing inflammatory bowel diseases and diseases of the liver, and keeping up with the latest advances in these areas. I’m also passionate about healthy living and helping patients see how something as simple as a healthy diet can really make a positive difference for their digestive and overall health.
