I became a doctor because I am passionate about diagnosing illnesses and cancer as early as possible, when treatments are likely to be the most effective.

Before joining Corewell I started, led, and grew the largest VA interventional pulmonology program in the nation. Due to the wide range of occupational and environmental exposures veterans face, I have seen and treated many different variations of lung abnormalities. Now, I’m applying that knowledge and experience to help my patients here in Michigan.

I believe that less is usually more when it comes to medical and surgical approaches. I am passionate about minimally invasive diagnoses of lung cancer and avoiding unnecessary procedures. My team fights lung cancer every day, and every day we find personalized approaches to solving the most challenging cases.
