Bogdan A Kindzelski, MD

Bogdan Kindzelski, MD, completed his undergraduate education with High Honors at the University of Michigan and his medical school education at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM) of CWRU. During this time, he was recognized by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Scholars Program in Cardiothoracic Surgery Research in Bethesda, MD and earned a Master's in Clinical Research as part of the joint effort between the NIH-Duke Training Program in Clinical Research and CCLCM.Dr. Kindzelski completed his residency training in cardiothoracic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, serving as administrative chief resident and earning the Charles H. Bryan Clinical Excellence Award in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. While at Cleveland Clinic, he was appointed a Clinical Instructor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at CCLCM. Dr. Kindzelski is a member or an affiliate of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), American College of Cardiology (ACC), and American College of Surgeons (ACS).Dr. Kindzelski is a leader in the field of adult cardiac surgery with over 25 peer reviewed publications and book chapters as well as over a dozen national and international conference presentations and abstracts. He is board certified and specializes in all aspects of cardiac surgery with particular interest in aortic surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, multi-arterial coronary bypass grafting, and re-operative cardiac interventions. Dr. Kindzelski aims to provide personalized and individual treatment plans that are evidenced based and patient-centered.
