I have found Dr. Erickson to be a kind, caring physician. He takes his time and never makes you feel he’s rushing even though I’m sure he’s on a time schedule.

I felt extremely frustrated by the virtual appointment I had this week. I waited for way too long for a virtual appointment and then during the appointment it felt as if you were unprepared for the issue I was having. As a patient I had to confirm the reason for the appointment 3 times prior to the appointment and it felt extremely frustrating that you researched the treatment during the appointment that you were 36 minutes late for. Additionally in my chart I was very succinct with the direction I wanted my care to go and I don’t feel like Dr. Erickson took that into account until I restated it during the appointment. I understand it’s my responsibility to advocate for myself but in this case it feels like unpreparedness. He did do a great job of explaining the base level and “normal” routes for care which I definitely appreciate but I got the impression that he wanted to stick to the “normal” routine even though I had multiple reasons to not want that route of care. The whole reason for the appointment was to see if my doctor would prescribe an oral medication and if the answer was no that is fine. It just felt like an extremely long process for a simple question.

He takes his time, makes sure my questions are answered, and asks if there is anything else I need before the visit is over.
