I had an unexpected ankle injury resulting in surgery. I was extremely overwhelmed with this injury as I just had a baby this past year but Dr. Buchanan had excellent bedside manner, thorough, and knowledgeable. I sent multiple messages through MYCHART and his staff responded the same day which is appreciated.

Confident and inderstanding

Dr Buchanan explained everything in a way I could understand and was personable about it. I felt like he was straight to the point in a good way. Everything he said he would do was done in a timely manner

He told me what the procedure was. How long I’d be laid up and how long I’d be unable to drive. How much pain to expect. Everything was true. I am recovered almost fully and in the time Dr Buchanan said I would.

He continues to walk this complicated journey with me, unwilling to give up. This speaks volumes to me and shows how caring of a provider Dr. Buchanan is. I appreciate Dr. Buchanan remaining on my care team and helping me navigate this tough journey.

He was reassuring and gave me hope my achilles tendonitis will be better over time with physical therapy, shoe inserts and some arthritic cream.

Dr Buchanan listens to his patients and when I forget something I can use my chart messenger and he responds as soon as he can which is very comforting

Everyone I have encountered up to this point has been extremely helpful and extremely cheerful. Exactly the way I think those that work in the health care occupation should be.

While he did answer some of my questions, it was very rushed. I don't need to be there a whole hour, but definitely more than 5 minutes.

My foot was scally and ugly. And the doctor still handled my foot. And didn't make me feel dirty
