I approach pediatric neuropsychology as a partnership. Families have expertise in their child, and it’s my job to help families better understand their child’s unique strengths and needs. I am passionate about working with children with a range of brain conditions and helping parents navigate the medical and school support these conditions may require.

Families often want to know what to expect at our appointments since they are different from other providers’. My appointments generally have three parts:

1. Intake: an opportunity to meet with families to learn about your child and assessment goals.

2. Testing: an individual plan for testing to address family, school, and medical team questions. Our testing plan is unique for each child.  The length of testing can range from an hour or two to several hours, depending on your child's age and the goals of the assessment.  We work with families to structure testing so that each child can experience success.

3. Follow up: a discussion on your child’s results and what they mean. We work together to identify the next steps that will help your child thrive.

Our comprehensive assessments provide unique opportunities to get to know your child and family. It is a great source of joy to me to learn about your child's unique personalities their strengths — and the strength of your family. It is incredibly rewarding to help parents build on these strengths to help their child flourish.
