Brooke A Blazius, DO

Brooke Blazius, DO is a board-certified pediatric nephrologist at Corewell Health – Royal Oak. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). Dr. Blazius completed her pediatric residency at Ascension St. John Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Blazius specializes in the care of children with kidney disorders, with clinical interests in neonatal nephrology, acute kidney injury (AKI), and renal replacement therapy. She is also passionate about medical education and quality improvement, with scholarly work focused on improving recognition of abnormal kidney function through enhanced GFR reporting.

She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to children and their families, and she actively contributes to advancing the field through both clinical practice and academic involvement.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Blazius enjoys playing the piano and spending time with her dog.
