Whether I’m educating children and teens about their conditions, helping their families better understand their health, or empowering everyone to take an active role in their care, I find supporting patients extremely fulfilling.

At every step, I want patients and their families to feel supported, heard, and involved in their care. For me, care goes beyond medical treatment — it includes connecting people with community resources, offering guidance through challenging circumstances, and creating a space where they feel heard and respected. My approach is centered on meeting each family where they are, understanding their unique needs and concerns, and working together as a team.

What brings me the greatest joy in medicine is taking the time to truly listen. Witnessing the sense of relief and reassurance is incredibly rewarding, whether it’s a patient, parent, or family member. The moments when trust is built and comfort is provided are what make my work so meaningful.
