I got into health care because I’ve always been passionate about caring for others. I started out in primary care, but I was eventually drawn to urology. I especially enjoy helping patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, overactive bladder, and kidney stones. These conditions can be fairly common, and can cause so much daily distress. Yet they are not talked about nearly enough. I am very passionate about giving people the tools they need to be able to improve their quality of life and be the healthiest versions of themselves.
I want you to know that I will do everything I can to address your health needs. That starts by listening to your concerns. I try to be proactive rather than reactive, so that we can identify risks early and prevent health problems before they begin or get worse.
It brings me so much joy when patients come back to see me and tell me how much their symptoms and overall quality of life have improved. It reminds me why I became a nurse practitioner in the first place.
