For the first time in decades I agreed to have a medical student. I’ve always been averse to this. She was very compassionate, intelligent, thorough, reassuring and has great skill with establishing trust. Well done! Dr Voss was was quite impressive on the same factors, however of course he allowed the student to do many of the overall basic examination. For the past five years since Covid I’ve had horrible experiences with Mercy/ Trinity Health. The Doctors leave after about six months to a year. It’s been beyond difficult establishing a long term DO practitioner. That’s why I’ve switched to Corewell. This appointment was the first thorough physical check of all my basic stuff in five years. I’m very hopeful and more confident that I won’t be shuffled around to a new Doctor every year because of a retirement, a move to a new practice, a call to serve the hospital instead of attending to primary patients. I bragged about Dr Voss to my kids and how I felt I’ve finally been treated as important. Thank you!

Given the evacuation circumstances, Dr Voss and Alex took good care of me
