I loved how detailed she was with her explanation and she made it understandable to someone who is not familiar with any of the medical terminology.

I really liked how she took a blank sheet of paper and outlined what to expect from surgery and the treatment plan. She identified the roles each team member would play. Very comforting to know that communication is going forth between team members as well as my outside physicians.

She spent the time to outline everything I’m going through in a manner we could understand. In such an uncertain and scary time it’s nice to know that I am not just a number

I truly appreciate how Dr Costello listens and partners with me in determining the care I will receive. She took the time to review my chart in detail (my case is a bit complex) and was very clear in how she communicated her thinking, the results, and treatment options. She listened and answered my questions with care and patience. All of this was reassuring to me during a scary time. I am very grateful to have her as my physician.

So thankful for her compassion and for her taking her time with me and putting things in terms I could relate to and understand. Wish I would have had her the first time around.

She takes each patient in her personal care. Giving them the time they need to think and ask questions. My visit took a long time but there was other woman before me. That's okay because we are human not robots. It's not a cookie cutter plan.
