I pursued a career in health care because I found the human body fascinating. But now, what I truly love most about my job is working with my patients. I love getting to know them and making an impact in their lives.
My approach to care is focused on patient-centered decision making. I will take time to educate you about your condition and test findings, and talk you through all of your options. The goal is for you to feel knowledgeable and empowered to choose an approach to care that’s right for you. I am especially passionate about preventive care. I enjoy partnering with patients who want to quit smoking as well as advocating for lung cancer screening and early detection.
It is a privilege to walk with my patients from the discovery of a nodule, through the diagnostic phase, and again when they are back after surgery or radiation. Nothing is more satisfying than telling someone their cancer is gone.
