About the Provider
My interest in medicine grew out of my love for physical activity and exercise. In school I was particularly fascinated by the heart, which inspired me to study cardiology and cardiovascular health. A career as a physician assistant allowed me to bring both worlds together.
My approach involves listening carefully to my patients and understanding their needs and goals, so that I can guide them toward taking a more active role in their health. Whenever possible I promote preventive medicine, which means helping patients prevent future problems and enjoy better health through lifestyle changes like diet and exercise. This may also reduce the need for medications and other interventions.
Nothing gives me more joy than seeing my patients recover from illness and improve their quality of life. Every day, my patients inspire me in one way or another, and reinforce that I’ve made the right career choice.
