Dr. Fermin completed his M.D. and internal medicine residency at University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and advanced heart failure & transplant cardiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Fermin's clinical interests include heart transplant, mechanical circulatory support and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

    He took the time to be aware of all my ptior medical information before seeing me so his knowledge of my situation put me at ease, be listened to me and I believed in his medical advice.
