I would have expected he do things like listen to my my hart, check eyes etc.

My last doctor. Dr. Faber was terrible at listening to my needs. He seemed very cold, especially to my mental health problems. He kinda treated me like I was whiney and he had better, more important things to do than tske care of me and my silly depression, anxiety, ptsd, ect. After a while I just stopped coming in. Ignored my health because I didn't want to deal with him judging me. Dr. Chafee is the exact opposite. No ego, no drama. Such a calming voice. He was so sweet. Emotionally I was in a state because the ER told me I might have somthing very serious wrong with my liver. They made me wait 2 weeks. Dr. Chaffee was so kind and gently, carefully explained whst happened, that I was ok and what lifestyle changes I need to make. He was actually very supportive of the changes I had already made too. I asked the same questions over and over and he was still so patient. We need more like him. Less ego, more heart. Thanks Doc! U made me feel safe.

Not much is done in checking your health. Just a BP, and your oxygen levels. No temp, checking of ears nose or mouth.
