I’ve always been fascinated with how bodies work. I’m also an extrovert. A career in medicine seemed like an obvious choice — it offered me a way to combine two things I love in a way that could provide meaningful personal interactions and improve people’s lives.

As a neurosurgery physician assistant, I often get asked about surgical recovery, expectations, pain management and returning to activity. I will discuss things honestly with you so that we can find the best way forward, taking into account your living and working situation, and your personal health goals.

Many of my patients have been dealing with chronic pain, motor control issues, and other symptoms that can be extremely frustrating and emotionally draining. So, it's always amazing when I get to see those same patients back in the clinic, after they’ve healed from neurosurgery and are able to live the lives they want to live once again.
