About Emma B Hare

About the Provider

I grew up with an older brother with severe autism. Watching my family navigate this journey together and seeing how much my brother benefited from behavioral health care and medications inspired me to pursue a career in child and adolescent psychiatry. I am especially passionate about caring for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders (including ADHD and autism), trauma‑related conditions, mood and anxiety disorders, women’s mental health concerns, OCD, substance use, and serious mental illness.

In my practice, I focus on the whole person, not just their symptoms. Understanding a young person’s unique experiences, abilities, interests, hopes, and challenges allows us to create an effective and empowering treatment plan together. Because mental health challenges are often caused by a complex set of biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors, treatments may include a combination of therapy, medication management, environmental supports, lifestyle interventions, and collaboration with families and schools.

I love watching young people discover their strengths, find their voice and confidence, and grow in ways that feel meaningful for them. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of their journey. Helping a child, teen, or family feel understood, supported, and hopeful is one of the greatest privileges of my work.
