I am extremely thankful for Dr. Wielhouwer's kind, compassionate care and his willingness to listen and help as best he can.

I already mentioned above and I will repeat it. Dr. Eric Wielhouwer is not only competent, but also caring. As usual, I meet him with a list of pointed questions, which he answers to my satisfaction. For further evaluation, I rely on his referrals as they squarely fit the bill. With him, I know that I will get more than I bargain for and my health stands to get all the dividends.

He was concerned about the pain I'm experiencing and wanted to involve an endocrinologist I'd worked with in the past to be sure the treatment he wanted for me was the best plan going forward. His office got back to me the next day and an rx was ordered. I so appreciated his quick response!

He is knowledgeable and kind and listens to our questions. He provides personalized care for both my husband and myself as well as providing timely referrals to other physicians when needed. We never feel rushed through an appointment or that he is just checking a box when he goes through an examination. I'm so grateful we have found him and the staff in this office. The way they all work together makes it a great patient experience. During this most recent appointment, he helped suggest language we can use to teach our 3-year old with bodily autonomy and we really appreciate how respectful he is.

Sit down and listen to your needs very knowledgeable. Answer any questions that you have and explain it in such a way that you understand doesn't rush you or take his time to take care of whatever it is that you have questions on.

My husband is an NP and on our first visit Dr. Wielhouwer was explaining everything in lots of detail. He stopped for a second and told my husband that he knew my husband already knew all the information he was providing but he wanted to make sure to explain everything to me to ensure I understood and make sure I didn’t have any questions. That small comment made me feel like he truly cares about his patients and wants to make sure he is working together with parents to ensure his patients are healthy .
