George Comas, MD is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He has served as faculty at Thomas Jefferson University and West Virginia University where he completed robotic surgery training certification from the Society of Thoracic Surgery (STS). Dr. Comas is an active member of the STS, the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association and the STS Workforce on Health Policy.

His special interestet are valve repair, minimally invasive/robotic cardiothoracic surgery (valve and coronary bypass), transcatheter/structural heart procedures and academic pursuits include dozens of peer-reviewed journal articles, review articles and participation in numerous national clinical trials.
