Gerrit W Rauch, DO

Gerrit Rauch DO, attended Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lansing, Michigan in 2019. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at University of Michigan Health - West in 2022, and his fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Mercy Medical Center St. Mary's in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2023. Dr Rauch has completed his Hospice and Palliative boards as well as his Addiction Medicine boards and has an interest in helping patients with substance use disorder, in particular those currently under the care of Hospice or Palliative Care. 

Dr Rauch works in the Palliative Care and Hospice settings, and will provide you with specialized care – from the time of diagnosis throughout the course of your illness – optimizing your quality of life by anticipating, managing and preventing suffering. He works with our expanded interdisciplinary team of experts including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers and chaplains who partner with you and address the physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual needs you may have throughout your illness and allow you to control of your comfort, dignity and important life decisions.
