Hanna C Jaworski, MD

I received my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Michigan State University in December, 2000. I went on to complete my medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 2005. I completed my Pediatric Residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital at Case Western Reserve University in 2008. I then went to work for an academic hospital owned general pediatric practice in Southwestern Virginia for 5 years, where I was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Virginia Tech-Carilion School of Medicine, and Virginia Commonwealth Osteopathic School of Medicine. During this time, I developed a grant-funded pediatric obesity prevention and treatment program, Positive Actions Towards Health (PATH). I moved to Grand Rapids in 2013 to join the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital Healthy Weight Center to spend more time working with and helping children who struggle with overweight and obesity. I am on faculty with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics
