Hayden M.K. Boyce, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in deep brain stimulation and pain. After earning his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Boyce completed his neurosurgery residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, where he served as chief resident. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. His clinical interests include functional neurosurgery, epilepsy surgery, brain tumor surgery, Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, focused ultrasound treatment for essential tremor and tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease, and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Boyce comes to Corewell Health from the Pinnacle Health System in Pennsylvania.

Never introduced himself when he came in room

He needs to improve his responsiveness to messages from patients and other providers. And, even when he asked his nurse to ask me to make this appointment, they couldn’t tell me what the appointment was actually about ahead of time, only that, there had been a lot of messages and he thought it was important to see me now. He didn’t even know that I was scheduled for surgery within a week!
