Heshan J Fernando, PhD

Heshan Fernando, PhD, is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for individuals with known or suspected disorders of the central nervous system. Dr. Fernando earned his master's degree in psychology from New York University and his doctorate in clinical psychology from Long Island University in Brooklyn. He completed his predoctoral internship and his postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at University of Florida Health Science Center in Gainesville. Dr. Fernando is a member of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the International Neuropsychological Society. His clinical interests include dementia, movement disorders and atypical parkinsonian syndromes, along with providing compassionate clinical care and treatment recommendations for patients and their families.
