Neuropsychology is a specialized field that examines the relationship between brain and behavior. This involves using science-backed data to inform diagnoses for patients with cognitive impairment because of disease or injury. I also have clinical interests in epilepsy, stroke, and neuro-oncology.
I pursued a career in healthcare to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I believe that a holistic approach to care is optimal. It’s important for me to spend time getting to know my patients and their backgrounds so I have a good understanding of the factors that may impact cognitive changes. I am committed to advocating for my patients, as I recognize that not all individuals have equal access to healthcare resources and services.
