I chose the medical field, particularly orthopedics, as I genuinely felt that I could make a difference in patient’s lives. The relationships I’ve developed with each patient have brought joy, gratitude and purpose – their stories stick with me. My number one priority is listening to each patient to truly understand the problem at hand, as clear communication can make all the difference. I focus on listening carefully, explaining details in plain language and working as part of a team to provide safe, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s goals.
