Dr. Thompson earned his medical degree from Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his otolaryngology – head and neck surgery residency and his head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery fellowship at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison.
His clinical interests include surgery for cancerous and non-cancerous tumors of the mouth, throat, sinus, face, neck, salivary glands and thyroid, minimally invasive robotic throat surgery, microvascular free flap reconstructive surgery, and treatment of melanoma and other advanced skin cancers.
