You are a unique, individual person. Your story, your values, and the context in which you exist are critically important. My goal is to point you toward living your best life, within your specific cultural and social context.
I have experience with many different psychotherapy techniques (such as cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and others). I look for the through lines from each approach to figure out what will be most effective for you. I am especially interested in helping people with relational trauma, chronic pain, and health problems caused by chronic anxiety or hypervigilance. I have a background in eating disorders and body image difficulties as well.
The relationships I build with my patients are truly special and bring me a lot of joy. The amount of strength and trust it takes to seek help is something I greatly admire. I love seeing their moments of joy and success, and it is an honor to support them through their moments of sorrow.
