I was inspired to enter health care by my mother, who was a nurse. Now as a physician, I love  the intellectual challenge medicine brings and helping people when they need it most. Using my training and experience to work through a complex medical situation is highly rewarding.

My approach to care is centered around what is most important to you. I will try to find creative ways to support your needs and empower you to take as much control of your health as possible. My goal is to take the time to explain and demystify anything that feels complicated and ensure treatment options are understandable. If a patient leaves a visit feeling more empowered and educated on their health care, I consider that a success.

End of life medicine is a clinical passion of mine — along with cancer care and advanced heart and lung disease management. I also love teaching the next generation of fellows, residents, and medical students.
