About the Provider
Dr. Rauwerda grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduating from Calvin College, she taught fourth grade at DeMotte Christian School in DeMotte, IN and sixth grade at Sylvan Christian School in Grand Rapids, MI. She then graduated from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed her residency at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. Dr. Rauwerda joined Alger Pediatrics in 2004. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has full privileges at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital and Saint Mary's Hospital.
