I went into medicine because I have always wanted to help people in real, tangible ways. I became an Ob/GYN physician because I love being part of some of the most important moments in people’s lives — whether it's bringing new life into the world, supporting someone through a tough diagnosis, or helping patients take charge of their health. I also provide services in hospitals including general gynecological and minimally invasive surgery.

I enjoy listening to your concerns, hopes, and fears. Being present and really tuning into what you tell me allows me to apply my training and experience to help you make the best health care decisions. When I inform patients about a diagnosis, I don’t just look for a smile and nod to move on. I take the time to make sure you understand what that means and what treatment options look like.

    I have been a patient of Dr. Dood’s for 19 years this month. He delivered my son & now guides me through the aging midlife woman problems. Always willing to listen and hear my concerns and take his time. I have never felt rushed - I am only sad that now I’m moving to another state and will not be able to see him any longer.
