When I was a teenager, my mother had a stroke. Of course, I had a lot of concerns and questions. But I felt that, because I was young, my mom’s medical team never took them seriously. I decided then that, when I joined the medical field, I would do things differently.

Good medical care isn’t just about tests, diagnoses, and treatments. It’s also about listening to people’s concerns and frustrations, and making sure they feel heard and understood. I strive to be that kind of health care provider for every patient.

I love making connections with my patients and helping them make informed choices about their care. It is extremely rewarding to be able to make a difference in their lives.
