I’ve been interested in science and biology since childhood. One reason I chose health care as a career is that it’s science in action. I also wanted to be able to apply my knowledge of science in ways that would help people.

One area of medicine that I really enjoy and prioritize is patient education. I believe in collaborative care, and this starts with explaining diagnoses and treatment options in detail so you understand what’s happening with your health. It also involves partnering together to create an ideal care plan for you.

Creating shared understanding is a top goal for me. You can depend on me to take the time to discuss your concerns and to answer your questions fully and honestly. Making connections with my patients truly brings me a lot of joy.
