About the Provider
I was born with a congenital malformation of the spinal cord — that means I grew up as a patient. My specialists showed genuine concern for me and really took the time to educate my mother about my care plan. They inspired me to become a physician so I could help people successfully navigate their own complex care.
I spend half of my time caring for patients and the other half as a resident physician educator, training the next generation of clinicians. Teaching is core to my practice. My goal is to be thorough, devoting time to educate you about your health conditions and the best treatment options, and empowering you to make informed decisions.
I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and forming long-term relationships based on trust. Seeing a patient’s health improve after educating them and connecting them with the right guidance, treatments, and resources never gets old.
