Dr Mahajan did an outstanding job on my hip replacement. But, his staff seemed to be over worked or under staffed. The communication during the initial rehab could have been much better

John is the greatest, but the Corewell system is letting him and his practice down by limiting his surgeries and being completely blind sides by the anesthesiologist of Grand Rapids.

I like his bedside manner. I didn't feel rushed by him when I asked questions. He was very up front about what could happen in during a surgery ans he assured me that he and the team will do their best to keep me safe during my hip replacement procedure....that I can appreciate 🙂

Very good at communicating even when much confusion leaving the hospital which I don’t think it involved Dr. Mahajan. I was told that I would be staying another night and going to rehab then we got rushed out of there and not sure why, but my opinion this had nothing to do with Dr. Mahajan.

I appreciated the follow up report after my visit. However, I still have not had a call from the scheduler from Corewell for Physical Therapy. It has been 8 days since my office appointment.

Well all we have done so far is review x-rays and order an MRI

When I decided to wait for knee replacement until I was fully adjusted to the new prosthetic socket and liner for the other leg, they were very understanding and suggested using a knee brace for support until that was done. That has worked quite well.
