John V Antonucci, MD

J. Vito Antonucci, MD earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. While at Tufts, Dr. Antonucci was selected to the national honor medical society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Antonucci completed his internship and radiation oncology residency program at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. Following his residency, Dr. Antonucci was a faculty member of the radiation oncology staff at Beaumont Hospital for three years. Currently, Dr. Antonucci is a member of the radiation oncology division of Michigan Healthcare Professionals (MHP)/21st Century Oncology. He is board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). His clinical areas are central nervous system (including Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery), head and neck, gastrointestinal, lung, genitourinary and breast cancers. He is also trained in Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy.
